About me

I am originally from the Rhineland in Germany. Following a long family tradition, I began my professional career with an apprenticeship as a stonemason and stone sculptor. But I soon moved from craftsmanship to science—first to study literature, and finally medicine.

I completed my medical studies at the Universities of Leipzig and Cologne. My subsequent medical training took me to various Swiss hospitals, including psychiatry, addiction treatment, surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. After obtaining my specialist title in general internal medicine, I found my professional home in family medicine.

I initially managed a group practice as an employed physician before founding the Wilen medical practice in 2016, where I cared for patients for eight years. Since August 2024, my team and I have been part of the Ärzte 8808 group practice in Pfäffikon.

I live with my family in Wädenswil, a town that has become our home. In my free time, I enjoy sports, whether in the mountains or playing padel tennis. I express my artistic side through music and literature. I enjoy reading and playing the piano, or at least trying to.

In my medical practice, holistic and humane care is particularly important to me. I am guided by Voltaire's words: “One should be a human being first and a doctor second.”

I look forward to providing you with personal and comprehensive support in all matters relating to your health.
